Just three days after the New Paltz conference, Paula, Phyllis and I attended League Lobby Day in Albany, an annual event that we had not attended for some time. We were briefed on current League priority issues just prior to attending a news conference to advocate for an early voting bill scheduled for a vote on Wednesday.
Later in the day we lobbied Senator Kaminsky, who is Phyllis’s State Senator, on several of our current priority issues. We need members to lobby their State Senators and Assemblymembers at their home offices in Nassau County.
